Unfortunately the response to my question about the feasability of this
was rather underwhelming - perhaps I worded the question too narrowly,
perhaps everybody was on holiday, or perhaps people are finally
switching to Solaris 2 (nah, can't be:-). Anyway, these are the results:
1 Running 4.1.3_U1 on an SS20/612, but only light load - seemed OK so far.
2 Running 4.1.4 on *single-processor* SS20 (which is known to work, and
even supported by Sun, I believe).
1 Metoo.
I'll certainly give it a try in any case, but I'm still interested in
real-life experiences running SunOS 4.1.x on *multi-processor* SS20 (or
SS10, for that matter) in general, and 4.1.4 on SS20/612 in particular.
