this $1895 to upgrade a SPARC2 board to a clone board w/ POWERuP seems a bit
steep considering you can ostensibly just buy the new CPU, stick it in yourself,
and be left with the old CPU for your dartboard or something....for $1500!!

As for the $3195 for a SPARC1 -> SPARC2clone/POWERuP, other clone manufacturers
offer SPARC1 -> regular SPARC2 for about $1450 (sunar@netcom.com ??)
which, with the CPU purchase for $1500, comes to about 3300, but again, you have
a SPARC2 CPU in your hand.....(they'll sell you the board for about $1800)...
       -> I don't know anthing about Sunar or their product, except the quoted
           prices, which may be off/out-of-date/poorly-remembered...`

What's the deal here??

Isn't anyone coming out with a clone board with the POWERuP which can be had via
upgrade/trade-in for around $2000 (fair??)

Isn't anyone just selling such a board for around 2500-3000 ???

(Rhetorical: Am I an idiot for expecting it??)
