SUMMARY: Procedure to replace failed qlogic hba on Sun Cluster 3.1 node

Thanks to Dean Ross-Smith, Rajendra Singh,  Nick Hindley, Jonathan Adams
for their replies.

I replaced the hba and peformed a boot -rx on the single node, booted up into
cluster and failed resources back over.  No issues.
