Thanks to all that responded. I really appreciate your information and advice. The answer to this question seems to be 16TB as of the 6/06 release of Solaris 10 or maybe even an earlier one. It will work on either UFS or ZFS file systems. My preference is ZFS but for those that like UFS, no problem there. There's a lot of documentation on docs.sun.com that many referenced and which I should have checked first before posting. Sorry about that.... Thanks again....
