Sorry, I found the answer on SunSolve. These modules don't load unless they are requested to. I added a forceload statement, and sysdef -I showed the correct output. -----Original Message----- From: sunmanagers-bounces@sunmanagers.org [mailto:sunmanagers-bounces@sunmanagers.org] On Behalf Of Cohen, Laurence Sent: Thursday, December 15, 2005 11:07 AM To: sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org Subject: (no subject) Hi, I have the following lines in my /etc/system file. set shmsys:shminfo_shmmax = 268435456 set shmsys:shminfo_shmmin = 1 set shmsys:shminfo_shmmni = 700 set shmsys:shminfo_shmseg = 200 However, when I do a sysdef -i I expect to see this * * IPC Shared Memory * 268435456 max shared memory segment size (SHMMAX) 1 min shared memory segment size (SHMMIN) 700 shared memory identifiers (SHMMNI) 200 max attached shm segments per process (SHMSEG) * But instead I see this * IPC Shared Memory module is not loaded Is there something else I'm missing from /etc/system or a daemon that is supposed to be running which isn't. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Laurence H.
