Hello, This had been seen and was accepted as a bug by SUN. Casper Dik explained that it was due to .init orderings which don't like being changed by differences to ld.so implementations. The workaround is to back out patch 112963-22 to version 20. There is a test package available which also fixes the problem. The problem is also visible in Solaris 10 with patch 117641-04 (according to David Foster). Casper Dik also confirmed that a new version of the patch would be released which fixes the problem. Thanks to Casper Dik David Foster Richard (diag@263.net) -- Tom. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Crummey, Systems and Network Manager, EMAIL: tom@ee.ucl.ac.uk Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University College London, TEL: +44 (0)20 7679 3898 Torrington Place, FAX: +44 (0)20 7388 9325 London, UK, WC1E 7JE. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Tue Aug 16 12:50:37 2005
