Well, no suprises here really. Yet another system with L2 cache problems a yet another board swap to fix it. Ho-hum. Points of interest: POST won't pick up these kinds of failures though VTS will. However, by the time VTS picks up the fault it's already too late. Thanks to those who replied. I've actually on-lined the core again using psradm but I'm curious about what would disable half a dual-core CPU. Another thing I noticed is that the OBP diags (latest and greatest) didn't pick up any kind of failure.
