If you want to manually controll this dir, then you need to disable automountd or comment out any line in /etc/auto_home and /etc/auto_master. After comment out everything you can reboot the system to be sure that automountd has no control over /home. Please summarize if this is the solution for you Problem, then others don't need to ask again - they can search the archive.. hth, Aleks -- No virus found in this incoming message.
