I only received one response from Christopher McNabb Chris suggested to use lsof to see whether there are checkpassword session already run in the system. I did not find any strayed checkpassword process in the system though. I have also run truss and truss does not seem to show any error message either. If any one has any additional suggestion, I will be happy to try. Thanks. ssefoen. Original question: o All Helpers: I have solaris 2.8 running npasswd version 2.05.
