That was great. Wade, Mohil have directed right towards lofs mount to earlier than later as below..It was cool. Appreciate it a lot, fantastic. Couldnt get downtime so completed it coupld of days ago..
Thanks and regards
Prashant
Ok.... I think I have a handle on this.

move:

 /apps/finpd - /opt/finpd lofs - yes -

between

/dev/vx/dsk/apollodg/vselprd /dev/vx/rdsk/apollodg/vselprd /apps/selprd vxfs 2 yes -
/dev/vx/dsk/apollodg/vscprod /dev/vx/rdsk/apollodg/vscprod /apps/finpd/SCPROD vxfs 2 yes -

so the resulting vfstab would be:

# cat /etc/vfstab
#device device mount FS fsck mount mount
#to mount to fsck point type pass at boot options
#
#/dev/dsk/c1d0s2 /dev/rdsk/c1d0s2 /usr ufs 1 yes -

/fs/log/archive - /kbs/finpd/archive lofs - yes -

REASON: Since /apps/finpd/SCPROD is mounted before /apps/finpd the mount point is /apps instead of /opt.

Give that a try and let me know.

What is the complete vfstab file? don't grep for it, show the complete listing. Is /apps mounted before directories under it?
