[Summary]: Installing locale packages?

Hi

Look into your  "1 of 2" CD to get your proper locales and install it.

Tha packages that installs the en_US locale are SUNWnamos, SUNWnamox,
and SUNWnamow

It was on the "1 of 2" CD. It should have been loaded with a standard
install, but somehow we missed it on a couple of systems.
No, we did not have to reboot.

Oddly enough, I just had this problem last week!
You can get it by loading up the SUNWnam packages.  That's how I did it.

SUNWnamos, SUNWnamox, and SUNWnamow

Greetings Forumers;

My problem: I have to setup the en_US locale, but my locale -a only
shows

# locale -a
POSIX
common
en_US.UTF-8
C
iso_8859_1

I told our user to try the "en_US.UTF-8" but he said it isn't working
with his application.

My humble questions:

1 - How can I get the "en_US" locale installed? Do I have to reboot when
installing it?

2 - What de difference between "en_US.UTF-8"  and "en_US" anyway?
