I didn't get to many replies. When I go into admintool and select add printer and put in an IP address it says "add printer failed" Someone suggested looking into this site www.apsfilter.org Which I didn't get a chance to do yet. Here is my original question Is it possible on Solaris when adding a remote printer to specify an IP address as opposed to a host name? I want to avoid having to go to every host to delete and re-add a printer when the dns name of the printer changes. Any other suggestions on easier print management would be great.
