As I had several additional replies of interest, I wanted to add to the prior summary. Thanks to: Tim Chipman <chipman@ecopiabio.com> Richard Skelton <Richard.Skelton@infineon.com> Drew Skinner <dskinner@blueprint.org> Tim reminded me of the infamous e-cache problems many Sun systems suffered a few years back. (Not the case here.) Drew noted a problem with E4000/4500 heat sinks coming unglued. And Richard asked how we identified the bad DIMM. My bad here, as I should've included this in my first summary. We rooted back through last week's messages file and found correctable errors referencing the specific DIMM. Thanks, again. -- Tim Evans, TKEvans.com, Inc. | 5 Chestnut Court tkevans@tkevans.com | Owings Mills, MD 21117 http://www.tkevans.com/ | 443-394-3864 http://www.come-here.com/News/ | _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Tue Aug 10 06:37:30 2004
