Thanks to Paul Boven and Michael Schneider for the following information: Are you sure they are actually resynchronizing? In single-user mode, it will not have started /etc/rc2.d/S95svm.sync yet, for instance. So you need to start the synchronization yourself, e.g. with the metasync command or the aforementioned rc-script. -----Original Message----- From: Brian Lucas [mailto:BLucas@accela.com] Sent: Friday, January 02, 2004 1:44 PM To: 'sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org' Subject: Single-user mode metastat Gurus, I have a Sun E4500 with attached A5200. We have had terrible weather that has caused massive power outages leading to my system going down rather disgustingly. I am in single-user mode and a quick metastat shows the disks are resynching but it doesn't show the percentage along they are like the output normally displays when the system is up and running normally. Does anyone know how to tell how far along a synchronization is for the metadevices while in "boot -s" mode.
