Hi, First, big thanks to Darren Dunham and Jeremy Loukinas for their responses... I've been able to bring my spare machine back up on it's feets (rootdev entry in /etc/system was causing SVM to freak, even though I removed the /dev/md* devices from /etc/vfstab). If anybody's interested, I have created a list of files needed to restore a Firewall-1 R55 enforcement point, without restoring the whole system (and thus wreaking havoc with SVM). --- /var/opt/CP* /dev/fw0 /dev/vpn0 /devices/pseudo/fw@0:fw /devices/pseudo/vpn@0:vpn1 /etc/init.d/* /etc/rc* /etc/devlink.tab /etc/minor_perm /etc/name_to_major /etc/fw* /kernel/drv/sparcv9/fw /kernel/drv/sparcv9/vpn /kernel/drv/fw /kernel/drv/fw.conf /kernel/drv/vpn /kernel/drv/vpn.conf /kernel/strmod/sparcv9/fwip /kernel/strmod/fwip /opt/CP* /etc/inet/netmasks /etc/inet/hosts /etc/nsswitch.conf /etc/nodename /etc/hostname.* /etc/resolv.conf /.profile /.cshrc /var/sadm/install/* /var/sadm/pkg/CP* --- Have a nice day !
