Many thanks to Kris Briscoe <krisb@tti-telecom.com>, the only one who responded (except for the usual vacation messages). We went back and forth a few times, but I couldn't get the filesystem to come up clean after breaking the mirror and re-creating the LUN to be able to mount the single disk. It turns out we're not going to do things this way, so I don't need the info. -Adam Original question: Quick question (I hope): We've got an E250 connected to an A1000 array. We've got a mirrored pair of drives on the A1000. I'd like to be able to break the mirror and mount the secondary drive elsewhere. We don't want to use DiskSuite for this. Is this possible? I've been playing with raidutil and drivutil. I can easily fail the drive, but I'm not sure how to mount it after that. If I delete the LUN and create a LUN with just the secondary, the data gets clobbered because the drive gets re-labelled. This is all under Solaris 8 with Raid Manager 6.22, if that helps.
