I thought this had been discussed > previously on comp.unix.solaris, but I couldn't find it there. Thanks to Rich Teer, ghenry, Matthew Stier, Ole Morten Xian, Scott Mickey. Instructions how to achieve the above are located at http://sunsolve.sun.com/pub-cgi/retrieve.pl?doc=fsrdb%2F50566 http://www.docbert.org/Solaris/Jumpstart/Sol9/Sol9EA-iso.html http://bolthole.com/solaris/mount-cdrom.html The description at docbert seems to be based on the sunsolve docs. The docbert/sunsolve isntructions worked for me, but not the ones from bolthole (mount complaining that the s1 image is not a ufs filesystem; and indeed, the offsets are different). That said, I didn't attempt to use the scanufs method. _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Wed Dec 17 08:06:41 2003
