Sorry for the delay on the solution. The solution is to insure that your umask 022 when loading the Solaris media kit on your jumpstart server. Not having it set properly causes installation issues. Original Question: Okay.. fun question. I'm trying to jumpstart a V210 with Solaris 9 12/03 and the SUNWmdr and SUNWmdu packages are not installing. They give this funky error: Installation of <SUNWmdr> failed (internal error). No changes were made to the system. pkgadd: ERROR: exec of /sbin/sh failed, errno=13 pkgadd: ERROR: checkinstall script did not complete successfully Installation of <SUNWmdu> failed (internal error). No changes were made to the system. 3676 blocks Is this a problem with the checkinstall script? Anyone run into this? ===== ****************************************************** * Octave J.
