Ah, yes, it *is* possible to install SunOS 4.0.3c from floppies! A small error in the README caused most of the problems: The first 4 floppies load SunOS in swap space, then a reboot is needed. The README says to use reboot sd(0,0,1) -sw This doesn't work, what is needed is reboot "sd(0,0,1) -sw" After that, the system boots from the swap partition and you can run suninstall to load in the other 20 or so floppies.
