Thanks to Casper Dik and Jay Lessert for their input. Much appreciated. What I finally did was back out the entire patch bundle for 3Q03 that was applied including some other requirement patches. I then reapplied the cluster without any problems and it all updated properly after the reboot. No errors or warnings were seen in any log files for this and the install log file for the bundle showed that everything installed properly. As stated in the previous email, uname -a and even a showrev without any flags showed that the old kernel rev existed but a showrev -p showed that the latest kernel patch was there. Extremely strange and annoying. Thanks again for all the assistance.
