Summary: Quick question about killing process

Hi Managers,

Thanks to Attila  to reminding me about the xargs.

Working solution:
ps -ef |grep pattern |grep -v grep | awk ' {print $2}' | xargs kill
>/dev/null

Thanks to others also for taking time to reply.

PS: pgrep and grep -v doesn't work here.
