Hi Sunmanagers Thanks for quick answer....I thought that I will receive such an answer but I was not sure....thanks to Michael Lehmann he answered very quick and very clear: the Fast SCSI/Ethernet (FSBE/S) 501-2025 with 50 pin connector support only 7 devices (ID=0-6, 7 is the controller itself). The disks with IDs above 7 are not recognized. To use more than 7 devices on the same channel you need at least a Wide SCSI card (68p connector) Hi Sunmanagers I use a Ultra 1 on 64bit modus (Solaris 8 with latest cluster) and have two Sbus SCSI cards entered. On each Sbus SCSI card there is a 12 slot multipack. Now on other systems (with PCI SCSI cards) I can use any/each slot with disk's and all disk's will be recognized. On the system with Sbus SCSI cards the system recognize only the first 4 slots with disk's. Is there any limitation (probably because of SCSI) with Sbus SCSI cards. Is with Sbus SCSI cards not possible to use Lun? Could I do something that all slots could be used with disk's in the 12 slot multipack?
