Sorry to be replying to the list, but someone sent me a very good solution, but the message got permanently by accident. The solution was to start the installation from the Solaris installation cd and then when prompted point the install to a flash archive via http. Whoever sent the email thank you very much. The concenus seems to be that it cannot be done, but a few mentioned proxy arp. I will look into the proxy arp solution to see if its viable. I have a single sun server in a remote location, but jumpstart servers are in main location. Can boot -net install be run over different subnets when the boot server is not on same subnet as jumpstart client. TIA -Sajesh- _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagers _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Mon Jul 14 11:34:22 2003
