After a few replies (thank you Jason Santos and Darren Dunham) I found out that you need the "Operating Environment Installation CD February 2000" that is suppose to come with the machine but we received the machine from anysystem.com which does not include anything with the machine except a stupid yellow duck (We will never shop there again). So with the solution presented we now have another problem "Were do we get the CD"? Does anyone have an ISO we could download or is there any patches we can apply to our jumpstart server instead of using the CD? Any extra info would be appreciated !! Thank you, Lex Citadel ---------------------------------------- Original Post ---------------------------------------- We just received an Ultra 80 and I attempted to put Solaris 2.6 or Solaris 7 on it but it gave me an error that it could not load/open the Kernel and it asked where it was. I then loaded Solaris 8 on it and everything works fine. Is this a case that Solaris 2.6 and 7 are not compatible with the Ultra 80 or do I need to patch the older OS's in order to make them work on it. Thank you!
