Previously: Previously: The man pages do not discuss this. I received several answers of varying degree. The general consensus is that, depending on the OS/motherboard the BIOS (or real time clock) may adjust itself when ntpdate/rdate is called. Intels running Linux will not update the RTC; Solaris/Sparcs will. Thanks to those who answered. _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Fri Jun 13 08:29:27 2003
