A few days ago I asked about the Solaris 9 Supplement CD and if it could be downloaded. As it turns out, I didn't get any responses that I found to be conclusive. I did get a few suggestions on where to download the Solaris 9 Companion Software CD, but that is a different CD. One person did respond that since it wasn't on the download list, that you can't download it. While it may very will be the case that you can't download it (and since I didn't get any responses saying this is where you can find it - this probably is the case), I'm not sure if when dealing with the Sun website that I agree with the logic because I have found downloads in places that one (or at least I) would not have expected. One example of this is the Solaris 9 Companion Software CD which is not downloaded from the same exact page as the rest of the Solaris 9 CDs. The Solaris 9 Companion Software CD can be found at: http://wwws.sun.com/software/solaris/freeware/s9pkgs_download.htm Thanks to Alan Pee, Steve Wills, Paul Gress, Hichael Morton and anyone I may have missed for trying to help me with this by responding to my question. I should have pointed that out, because at first I thought they may have been the same thing. Anyway, the question bellow still stands. Ed C. On Wed, 21 May 2003, Edward M.
