Re: SUMMARY: NIS slave updation problem

I am sorry for not posting the summary
Here it is
Run

     ypcat -k ypservers

and make sure your slave is listed in this map. If it isn't
then you need to add it:

cd /var/yp
ypcat -k ypservers >! tmp
echo "new-server-name" >> tmp
cat tmp | makedbm - /var/yp/`domainname`/ypservers
rm tmp

If your slave is in the map, then it's probably a problem
with ypxfrd not running on the slave.
