Many thanks to all that offered assistance on my CPU problem, I have now
tried both Sunvts and Seti and found them to be equally as good as each
other ay CPU testing.

Regards,
Paul Procter

The original issue was:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Does anyone have a script that they use to test a cpu that may be a little
on the 'worn out' side of things? We have been given a script that carries
out a `wc -c /dev/mem &` but am not entirely sure that this is a good test.

Many thanks in advance, I will summarize.

Regards,
Paul Procter
