The problem was that I forgot to either put -R/usr/local/lib in my configure script or set my LD_LIBRARY_PATH to it. I'm trying to compile nmap 3.25 on solaris 8 or 9 with gcc 3.2.2 precompiled from sunfreeware. The file libstdc++.so.5 is a link to libstdc++.so.5.0.2 which is sitting in the same directory and I'm compiling this as root with LDFLAGS set to -L/usr/local/lib so what am I doing wrong? And I promise to post the summary when I get it. thanks _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagers _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Wed Apr 23 15:10:29 2003
