Summary: Solaris package modification and revalidation

Crist Clark provided the instant solution to my
problem: when you modify a package, the checksum and
file size need to be updated also in the pkgmap file.
To get the file size, do "ls -l". to get the checksum,
use "sum" command.

In addition, I also got some suggestions from
Rob De Langhe, who suggested "see man pkgmk" and
Ryan A. Krenzischek, who gave some more details:

I have not yet tested this out. But for information on
how to create a package from scratch, I found this
