Summary: OpenSSH problem

Thanks to some quick responses, I now have OpenSSH working on my machine.
As it turns out, in the last couple of days, a new OpenSSH package came
out on http://sunfreeware.com. I deleted all the keys and uninstalled
OpenSSH version 3.5.1p1, and then installed the new OpenSSH package
(3.6.1p1) and a newer version of OpenSSL (0.9.7a) from SunFreeware. Some
other suggestions included:

Mike (of Mike's List) suggested:

try ssh -l <username> <ip> and see if this helps...try ip instead of
hostname machine.somewhere.com etc. He also mentioned that more Sun
packages can be found at:

	ftp.patriots.net.

Brian Pardy suggested deleting any keys in $HOME/.ssh. While that didn't
help, it did lead me to attempt to connect using Protocol 1, which worked,
but I still couldn't get Protocol 2 to work before upgrading to the just
released version. 

I'm not sure if there was a bug, some other conflict between the
first version of OpenSSH (3.5.1p1) and something on my system, or just
that something became corrupted. Anyway, it is now working.
