I have not doubted and was not ready to start doubting Unix behavior this time. once again it was the developer fault. He has the job running from two different servers at same time, it was not just one devel working on this but two and communication played a rolled on this as they failed to inform each other on job running from two different server at same time. Thanks everyone, Vinnie. > -----Original Message----- > From: German, Vinnie > Sent: Monday, March 03, 2003 11:27 AM > To: sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org > Subject: cron running job twice. ???? > > Hello, > > I have a very strange situation in which a job under cron is running twice > when it's suppossed > to run only once. The developer is telling me this, however /var/cron/log > does not show job runnig twice but once.. > This is happening under Solaris 8. > > This server is running 5.8 Generic_108528-18.
