Thanks to everyone that responded. My original problem was getting a Ultra 1 to boot from a Solaris 9 cd. The problem turned out to be that the disk that I had was infact DVD format. After obtaining the correct format I was able to boot up. Although it does complain about having to boot in 32bit mode, I know how to update the prom.
