Hi everyone! first of all - many thanks, I'm impressed with the feedback Francisco Puente Richard Jaehne Hendrik Visage David Glass Chris Pinnock Frank Foerster everyone's suggestion was to check /etc/nsswitch.conf file, but it was ok as well as the /etc/hosts and all other files. what I've done was /etc/init.d/nfs.server stop; /etc/init.d/nfs.server start on the "server1" machine. and in a few minutes everything was okay. Don't know what was wrong. -- Grigory Nikonov, system administrator, Renaissance Insurance, Moscow, Russia. _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Fri Feb 7 09:31:29 2003
