SUMMARY: Server paging heavily - suggestions to fix?

Apologies for the late summary.

Thanks to all who responded.

Basically even though the paging is high all other indicators are that the
server is running well.  I have made some changes to the autoup and maxpgio
entries in /etc/system.
I am now waiting to see the effect.

I have a server that is showing a lot of paging activity, but no swapping
activity.
The server is running multiple Oracle 8 databases.

The CPU usage never seems to get over +/- 70%.

The "other" indicators, e.g. I/O ,etc. seem to be high but okay.
I would appreciate any suggestions on what to look for or possible ways to
improve the paging problem.

Below is a sample output of running vmstat -p on the server:
