Thanks for allwho replied. There are so many people willing to help and I even can't list all the helpers names! Most suggest either netatlk or CAP. We don't haven't had MACs for a long time until recently. So my goal is to support some backup capabilities to some old MAC users on my UNIX box ( Sun Solaris ). Samba works here for PC users. I think it is natural to let PC users to see their folders look like PC folders. Also I want to let MAC users to see their folders look like MAC folders. The reverse is not an option here to use UFS file on MAC. Again thanks all who replied and sorry not to list all the names. *----------------------------------------------* * Shouben Zhou * * National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) * * 144 Research Dr., Hampton, VA 23666 * * Phone: (757) 766-1809, Fax: (757) 766-1401 * * Email: zshouben@nianet.org * *----------------------------------------------* > > We know samba will support PC file system on UNIX.
