SUMMARY: /etc/system binary file

Thanks a lot to folks who answered my question.

/etc/system MUST BE AN ASCII FILE.

The strange binary /etc/system on my E250 was created during a Live Upgrade from 
Solaris 8 to Solaris 9.
I used the lu routine on different servers and I think I was not lucky with this 
one.

I copied a system file from another server and everything is working fine.
