(i no longer support the e3500d) you should be able to search the sunhelp archives for sun's support areas and find it. what we ended up doing with all of our exx00 series machine is booting from and external cabinet. this, among other things, avoided the wwn issue on the boot drives. I have no problem installing the server with the first CD. However, I encounter a problem while I try to install the Second CD. The server does not prompt me to insert CD 2/2. If I try and install CD 2/2 with the command "installer" (under /cdrom/cdrom0), the GUI comes up for "LIVE UPGRADE" instead of Software Installation. I don't see the options to install all the packages in CD 2/2. Did any one come across such situation, your help is highly appreciated.
