Managers: Thank you to all that replied. For the sendmail relaying issue we were having, we are going to use the /etc/mail/relay-domains and the /etc/mail/access files. All of the answers I received in reply to my question, followed by the original posting, are below. -------------------------------------------- http://mail-abuse.org/tsi/ar-fix.html#sendmail_8 -------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- edit the following file: /etc/mail/relay-domains and add only the domains that you want to relay. Then restart sendmail via /etc/init.d/sendmail stop /etc/init.d/sendmail start -------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- Edit the /etc/mail/access file -------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- Clear, unset, delete FEATURE(`promiscuous_relay') -------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------- http://www.sendmail.org/tips/relaying.html ----- Original Message ----- > > Managers, > I am a sendmail novice that is in dire need of a quick > answer.
