Hi All, Firstly, apologies for not seeing the answer in the FAQ. 'memconf' available from http://www.4schmidts.com/unix.html does what is needed. Does not work on U80 based systems properly, as U80 prtdiag command does not report memory accurately. Not a fault in 'memconf'. Thanks to all who replied (too many to mention) and to Tom Schmidt for writing it. Regards Mossey Original Post ============= Hi All, Is there any command/tool that I can tell what memory slots are used and what size dimms are in those slots. I have a number of different clients/servers U10 U80 E250 E420 E450 prtdiag -v does not report this on all the machines above. All of the machines are running Solaris 8 02/02. I don't want to power the machines off and do this from the prom. Any help would be appreciated and I will summarise Regards Mossey _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Fri Jul 26 09:58:58 2002
