Hell No. It's simply a dual connector to the same ethernet interface ( so that you don't have to bother buying an AUI transciever if you don't have one ). Thanks. for all the help. ltiu Subject: AUI and 10BaseT Date: Sat, 29 Jun 2002 22:58:36 -0700 From: ltiu <ltiu@alumni.sfu.ca> To: <sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org> Hello, I notice on some Sun boxes (SparcStation 5/10), there is an AUI and a 10BaseT ethernet port side by side on the same machine. Question is: Can there two be used at the same time over different LAN segments (different ip address/subnet)? Thanks for any help. ltiu _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagers ------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Sun Jun 30 11:01:36 2002
