SUMMARY: How to script labeling of new disks to avoid manually using format?

Thanks to all!

In summary, there were many variations of piping
prtvtoc output to fmthard.  Some examples are as
follows...

##############
Example 1
##############
label one disk, let's say /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2, then do
prtvtoc /dev/rdsk/c0t0d0s2 | fmthard -s - <every other
disk>

##############
Example 2
##############
for i in 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 ; do
prtvtoc /dev/rdsk/c1t0d0s2 | fmthard -s -
/dev/rdsk/c2t0d$is2
done

There were other suggestions which included using
perl.  Let me know if you want them.
