Thanks for all that responded so quickly to my question: > I'm trying to remember the name of a command I've used under Solaris > before. It lists the MAC addresses of all the computers that it can see > on the local network. Any ideas? Thanks. The command I was looking for was "arp -a". Alternately some people said that "netstat -p" does the same thing. The one thing to remember is to ping the subnet you are on so that all the attached computers are put in the arp table. -- Doug Krause dijon@ratcage.com _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Thu May 23 12:06:52 2002
