Summary: SENDMAIL PROBLEM

Thanks to a whole bunch of people who replied.

Most of them were suggesting to check the FileSystem, /var/mail,
Restarting Sendmail.

The Solution which worked for me was

I cleared the /var/mail and ran fsck on the Mail Server System. Now I am
not getting I/O Error. Hopefully the Problem is resolved.

My Original Posting Was

Hi Sun Experts

I am new to sendmail, Please suggest your solutions to the problem what
I am facing. The Problem on a Mail Server is, intermittently the users
are not able receive mails and the mails sent by them to the recipient
is also not reaching. I ran mailq and observed the following errors.

I checked up in /var/log/syslog file and noticed the following errors.

Can U Please give some ideas why this error message occurs and how it
can be solved.
