Hi again everybody. Just for grins and giggles, I tried installing the two earlier revisions of openssh from sunfreeware. The 3.0.1 version gave me a segmentation fault. The 2.9.2 version however works just fine with no extra steps needed. I'm thinking that the best thing to do is to compile it myself, but I'll wait a while longer in case somebody comes up with some other ideas. Besides, I just tried using the gcc from sunfreeware and when I tried the configure file, I get the message "error: C compiler cannot create executables." Could this have to do with the Solaris installation chosen? I chose the Core version, and I know that there are a couple of other installs that install more (End user, Developer, OEM, etc.). What do you think?
