SUMMARY:bar code problem with L9 tape library

Thanks for the response from Brian Dunbar, jhartzen, Mark Neill. The basical 
idea is write a small "tar" file, which can include backup index & content, to 
tape. 

There is no easy way to put more information to dump header, which could be 
viewed by "what".

We have a L9 Sun Tape library attached to an Ultra 2 as our backup server.
At 
this moment, we are using ufsdump/vxfsdump to dump data to tapes and it is 
difficult to track the tape usage, hostname and which filesystem on which
tape. 
Is there a way in ufsdump/vxfsdump to index them? Any good suggestions?
