QUESTION: Is there a way to change the date of the system date other than using the 'date' command? For example, is their a way of doing it that is equivalent to changing the date in the BIOS of a PC? SUMMARY: 1) On solaris/sparc, the date command updates the sparc equivalent of the BIOS clock. 2) use "ntpdate time-b.nist.gov" Thanks to Joe Matusiewicz and Dave Mitchell for the replies. _______________________________________________ sunmanagers mailing list sunmanagers@sunmanagers.org http://www.sunmanagers.org/mailman/listinfo/sunmanagersReceived on Tue Feb 26 16:34:40 2002
