Summary: Crack 5.0a install problems

Thanks to Michael Schulte who gave me some insight to 
my problem.  He basically told me that I was missing 
GNU binutils - see message below.  I will get this 
from the GNU website.

These errors indicate that you need to use GNU's binutil package with
   gcc.
