SUMMARY: Bad DDS3 Tape Drive?

Problem:

On a E250 we have an internal tape drive that was succesfully
writing/reading DDS-3 tapes until Wednesday. After that, we started to
receive error messages. I cleaned the drive a few times and tried 3
different tapes including one that recently saved a ufsdump. I have been
able to tar a few files to it but once it reaches a certain point it stops.
Below is the ufsdump output (which worked prior).
Also, I have found a previous archive from 1999 in which they ended up
replacing it. It is not under warranty and I would like to see if there is
a way to fix this.

Thanks,

SOLUTION:

It appears that the only solution is to have it replaced! Thanks to the few
that responded.
