Sorry it took me so long to summarize, here is the initial post:

I would like to thank the following people for their help:

Mark Cohen
Alan Reichert
Pete Gilbert
Vic Engle
Andrew J. Caines
Andrew Mitchell
Chris Rouch
Thomas M. Payerle
Phil Brutsche
Bertrand Hutin
Roy Culley

The overall consensus was that the best way to tackle the issue was wit=
h
the Pel module Net::SMTP. I installed the module and whipped out a scr=
ipt
that solved my problem in about an hour. The module was surprisingly e=
asy
to use and if anyone out there would like to look at the script I wrote=
 or
could use some help with one they're writing, just send me an email.

Thanks again,

Don
